chamber Music mentorship program
August 12th - 18th, 2019
For advanced young musicians
The Chamber Mentorship Program is designed to provide young advanced string players to get a chance to work with some of Canada's most sought-after chamber musicians. This intensive experience will include 3 in-depth rehearsals on a chamber music masterwork, a lesson with one of the mentors, and participation in the Belfountain Music Festival Orchestra (Side-by-Side with all the mentors and other participants), culminating in a performance as part of the 2019 festival programming. Participants will also receive a free pass to all festival concerts.
Rehearsals will take place at a location in downtown Toronto, and concerts will take place at Alton Mill Arts Centre and Paul Morin Gallery in Caledon, ON.
